Ohio State Football: Buckeye Leaves For OSU 30-23 Overtime Win Over Badgers

James Grega: Jalyn Holmes. For most of the night, the Wisconsin run offense seemed to hold the edge, both literally and figuratively. But anytime the Badgers looked to pass the ball, Ohio State had pressure on quarterback Alex Hornibrook, and Holmes played a big part in that. He had two tackles for loss and was in on the final play of the game, when he and Tyquan Lewis converged to sack Hornibrook to end the game. Jerome Baker also earns mention, once again leading the team in tackles for the second week in a row. He tallied 13 tackles, 1.5 for loss including a stop on a screen play that helped to stall a Wisconsin drive.  Tim Moody:  J.T. Barrett made some of the worst plays in Ohio State’s overtime win over Wisconsin. But the junior quarterback also made the most important plays, and those greatly outweigh his mistakes. Barrett – who broke the school record for total career touchdowns with his overtime strike to Noah Brown – finished the game 17 of 29 for 226 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
