Junior Dante Booker suffered a knee injury in the first half of the season-opening win over Bowling Green, but will return for the Buckeyes this week. In his Wednesday press conference Urban Meyer said Booker will play after missing six weeks. Meyer listed booker as questionable or probable the last few Wednesdays, but come Saturday he’s been in street clothes on the sidelines each game. Last week, Meyer said the knee was worse than the coaches initially believed, an MCL and PCL injury. In his absence, Jerome Baker has emerged as a defensive weapon for the Buckeyes. The sophomore had an interception returned for a touchdown against Oklahoma earlier in the year and led the Scarlet and Gray in tackles in Saturday’s overtime win over Wisconsin.
