Week 8 was a big Saturday for the College Football Playoff race. Not only did Texas A&M drop from the list of undefeated teams, but Ohio State did as well with a 24-21 loss on the road at Penn State. There were many storylines from the game — from Ohio State’s struggles in the passing game to the botched special teams plays. But the main question many had after the game was how the playoff race was going to change. Some took the extreme route, wondering if this was the first sign of chaos in the playoff race.
