Ohio State notebook | Meyer: Buckeyes need to keep pushing, grinding

The past couple of days have been about standard practices, but Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said Wednesday he has noticed an angrier team, especially among the upperclassmen, after a loss Saturday to Penn State, just the fifth loss in Meyer’s five seasons (56-5).“Thursday and Friday is more of the motivational, and you’ll see more of that” desire, Meyer said.But the focus is on beating Northwestern, winners of three straight, and not so much on whether the loss will ended any feelings of complacency.“We’ll reflect some other time,” Meyer said. “We’re a good, young team, we’re getting better, and we’ve just got to keep pushing and grinding and fight through adversity.
