COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State can still make the College Football Playoff. Have we said that enough this week? The Buckeyes path there could take a hit this weekend, though. Michigan State upsetting Michigan would be a welcome sight for Buckeyes fans any other year. But you want Michigan to win right now. Unless Penn State loses again, the Nittany Lions have a tie-breaker advantage over Ohio State to get to the Big Ten Championship. That is unless Michigan comes to Ohio Stadium 8-0 in Big Ten play on Nov. 26 and loses to the Buckeyes. Then Ohio State would win a three-way tiebreaker with the Wolverines and Nittany Lions. So root for losses for playoff contenders all you want this week, just don’t wish for it to be Michigan right now. Unless you think Penn State is going to lose at Purdue this week. Michigan’s game at Michigan State is not the only one that can cause some change at the top of the College Football Playoff race.
