LISTEN: Ohio State fan and radio caller goes bonkers over Penn State loss

When it comes to college football fanbases, fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes don’t exactly have the reputation of being the most level-headed of the bunch. See Kirk Herbstreit moving his family from Columbus to Nashville to get away from rabid Buckeye fans as an example. Also see this caller to (ironically enough) a radio show in Nashville talking about OSU’s loss to Penn State last weekend. Josh from Columbus called The Bill King Show on WNSR in Nashville because theoretically he needed someone out-of-state to release some negative energy to regarding Ohio State’s first true road loss under Urban Meyer. King’s reaction sums it up nicely. “Josh is pretty ticked off right there.” Sure it’s ok to be upset about Curtis Samuel’s lack of carries (for the record he had only two of those but also eight receptions for ten total touches). And sure, it’s ok to be upset about two special teams blunders that basically gave the game away. But cursing out the team? Being ashamed to wear the colors? Dude, your team is still ranked in the Top 10 in the country and has two road victories over teams currently in the Top 15 in Wisconsin and Oklahoma. It’s ok to relax,…
