Upon leaving Ohio State, he played three seasons with the Cleveland Browns and one with the Atlanta Falcons before a life-changing event — the premature birth of twins — drew him to medicine. He is a second-year surgical resident at Doctors Hospital on West Broad Street. How was the transition period between Coop and Jim Tressel?Answer: When everything went down during the coaching search, I had a chance to meet coach Tressel.
