Ohio State Stays at No. 2 In Latest College Football Playoff Rankings

Ohio State appears to be in good shape to qualify for the 2016 College Football Playoff. After beating then-No. 3 Michigan (10-2), 30-27,  in double overtime last Saturday, the Buckeyes remained the second-ranked team in the CFP rankings that were unveiled Tuesday evening.  Alabama (12-0) is still the top team, a spot it has not relinquished since the first CFP rankings came out on Nov. 1.  Though OSU (11-1) will not play in the Big Ten title game on Saturday, it seems likely it’ll get into the CFP, given its No. 2 ranking.  Penn State (10-2) and Wisconsin (10-2) will meet in the Big Ten championship game. Should PSU win, then things get interesting for the Buckeyes because the Nittany Lions have the head-to-head advantage over OSU.   PSU has already won the division that both Ohio State and Michigan are in.
