For the sake of underdogs everywhere, I hope that boat doesn’t capsize when the upstart Broncos take on one of the big boys in the Cotton Bowl.There are people out there who say, with a straight face, that Ohio State should be left out of the College Football Playoff. Those people don’t watch much football. The goal of the playoff format is to match up the best four teams — not conference champions that survived the weekend money grabs. The Buckeyes easily are in the elite quartet. I don’t think the Buckeyes can repeat their magic from two seasons ago because Alabama is so dominant, but one more victory is not beyond this group.
