Ohio State Football: J.T. Barrett Excited To Play In Postseason After Missing 2014 Run

As confetti rained down on Ohio State (on three separate occasions) in 2014-15, quarterback J.T. Barrett was forced to celebrate from the confines of a scooter as he recovered from a broken ankle suffered during the fourth quarter of a win over Michigan.  The Buckeyes rattled off wins over Wisconsin, Alabama and Oregon to win the national championship behind backup quarterback Cardale Jones as Barrett, who finished fifth in the Heisman voting that season, watched from the sidelines.  Two years later, Ohio State is back in the College Football Playoff and Barrett has the chance to be a part of the Buckeyes run at a national title, something he said he is grateful for.  “It’s truly a blessing.
