The USA Today released a database Wednesday of college football coach assistant salaries and Ohio State has nine assistants on the list. The Buckeyes rank No. 7 nationally in total salary with a collected $4,583,100 payout in 2016. Ohio State defensive coordinator Luke Fickell is Meyer’s highest paid assistant. He made $754,500 last year, which was the 27th-highest salary of any assistant in college football this year.
