Looking Forward: Buckeye Quarterbacks in 2017 and Beyond


(You can follow Ben van Ooyen on Twitter at @BuckeyeBVO.) The Buckeyes have been graced with great quarterback play almost since Urban Meyer took over the team in 2012. From Braxton Miller to J.T. Barrett to Cardale Jones and back to Barrett, the Buckeyes have gone 61-5 under Meyer due in large part to suburb quarterback play. Given the successes of the past, it would follow that there will be successes in the future. With that in mind, let’s take a look at recruiting at the quarterback position for the next couple of years for Ohio State and see how the Buckeyes look at the most important position in sports. After this season, there is thought that J.T. Barrett might be departing Columbus for the NFL — leaving Ohio State with a lot of inexperience at the position.
