Hybrid back Curtis Samuel announced Monday that he is leaving Ohio State to enter the NFL draft. Earlier in the day, defensive end Tyquan Lewis went public with his decision to return for his senior season.“I thank God for the opportunities that he has blessed me with, to put me in the situation I am in today,” Samuel wrote on Twitter. “I have decided to realize my dream and enter the 2017 NFL draft.” The junior was the only player in major-college football to top 700 yards gained in both rushing and receiving in 2016 and became the go-to player of the OSU offense, though he and the Buckeyes were stifled in the 31-0 loss to Clemson in a College Football Playoff semifinal nine days ago.
