Ohio State’s tight recruiting connection with high school national champion Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas, Nevada, grew slightly looser overnight with the revelation wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey had withdrawn his commitment to the Buckeyes’ 2017 class.Gorman’s elite dual threat quarterback Tate Martell and defensive lineman Haskell Garrett are still part of the class. In fact, Martell, who transferred to another Las Vegas high school so he could graduate early (Gorman does not allow that), said earlier this week he will start classes at Ohio State on Thursday as one of nine early enrollees from the group. But Lindsey, who pledged to OSU on Aug. 22, announced via Twitter early Wednesday morning that is no longer the case. “I will (sic) like to announce that I have OFFICIALLY opened my recruiting process back up,” Lindsey wrote.
