Well folks, we have hit the home stretch of recruiting until National Signing Day, and the Buckeyes are sitting pretty with 18 highly-ranked recruits. With the addition of defensive back Jeffrey Okudah last weekend during the U.S. Army All-American game, the Buckeyes now have commitments from seven 5-star prospects based on the 247Sports Composite rankings. The Buckeye class sits at No. 2 overall in the recruiting rankings with their recent addition of Kendall Sheffield, the junior college cornerback transfer. With the early entrants into the NFL, along with a few announced transfers the Buckeyes are still sitting over the scholarship number for next season. However, they are not done adding to this class, and for that to happen some more attrition will have to take place.
