Ohio State football: Rookies from record draft class made mark

With the elimination of Ezekiel Elliott’s Dallas Cowboys last week, all of the rookie seasons for Ohio State’s most recent draft class are finished. Though no first-year ex-Buckeye will play in the Super Bowl this year, that’s about the only thing missing from their collective resume. As impressive as draft weekend was nine months ago, the Buckeyes’ performance exceeded even that. “I never saw a class like that,” ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. said in a conference call Thursday. “I know we can go back in history and find classes that were really, really spectacular.
