Ohio State Football gets back three quality defenders


You never like to see quality players lose playing time due to injury but it does happen frequently in the physical game that is college football. For Ohio State Football, this was the case for a few key guys in the front-seven in 2016. Nose tackle Tracy Sprinkle went down with a patella tendon injury in the first game of last season, and linebackers Dante Booker and Justin Hilliard were unfortunately sidelined as well. If these three can be fully healthy going into next season, that really adds to the Buckeyes depth defensively. The Bucks lost some inside run-stopping when Sprinkle was lost for the year; he was poised to have a breakout season as a junior last year.
