COLUMBUS, Ohio — Joey Bosa’s sophomore season at Ohio State in 2014, he led the Big Ten with 13.5 sacks and 21 tackles for loss, was named the conference’s defensive lineman and defensive player of the year, earned unanimous first-team All-American honors and won a national title. Here’s the question. How can Nick Bosa follow that path in 2017 if he isn’t on the field enough? Maybe the answer is that this new version of Ohio State football, with the recruiting for the Buckeyes ratcheting up, means that great players will have to fight even harder to see the field.
