Ohio State: Urban Meyer’s Kid Will Play Baseball At University of Cincinnati

Browns Rumors: Even Browns Think They Had To Overpay For Jamie Collins by Nick Dudukovich Ohio State head football coach Urban Meyer’s son will follow the academic path of his father by attending the University of Cincinnati. Nate Meyer, the high school junior aged son of Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, will play baseball for the University of Cincinnati. Nate, a junior at Bishop Watterson–a Catholic school in Columbus– announced his decision on Twitter Monday night. The Meyer family has history with UC, as Urban calls the school his alma mater (1986). After playing minor-league baseball for a couple season, Urban walked on to the Bearcats in 1984. The Bearcats boast nice athletic facilities and an excellent venue for college baseball. Some more recognizable names the school’s sent to the Major Leagues include Josh Harrison and Kevin Youkilis.
