QB Kory Curtis talks walk-on opportunity at Ohio State

U.S. Army All-American and Ohio State early enrollee Tate Martell isn’t the only quarterback in the Buckeyes class of 2017. While the Bishop Gorman (NV) standout might be on scholarship it looks like another signal caller will get a chance to wear the Scarlet and Grey as a preferred walk-on. Announcing his plans on national signing day, Kory Curtis of Island Coast High School in Cape Coral, Florida, accepted his walk-on opportunity at Ohio State after recently visiting the Columbus campus. “I talked to Erin Hodges and the recruiting coordinator Katie (Plageman). They were excited to have me and they treated me very well and made me feel like I was at home on my visit this past weekend” said the 6’4 225-pound Curtis , who chose Ohio State over options at Southeastern, Ava Maria, Hutchinson Community College, Colorado, and Florida Atlantic University.
