Buckeyes now face uphill battle for country’s No. 1 RB

The country’s No. 1 class of 2018 running back, Laurinburg (N.C.) Scotland standout Zamir White, visited Ohio State in June and afterwards said he had a “great visit.” White also made it back to Ohio State a second time and was on hand as the Buckeyes rolled over Nebraska 62-3 in early November. Tony Alford stopped at Scotland High in late January and at the time Scotland head coach Richard Bailey said he thought the Buckeyes were in White’s top two or three.
