Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes continue to show their determination in making next year’s recruiting class as strong as this year’s. Starting the week off with a bang, the Buckeyes sent out a scholarship offer to an elite defensive tackle committed to Notre Dame yesterday. Jayson Ademilola (Jersey City, NJ / St. Peters Prep) is a four-star defensive tackle and is the country’s No. 242 overall recruit, the No. 21 best DT and is the fifth best recruit in from New Jersey, all according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. The 6-foot-3 and 283-pounder committed to Notre Dame in June 2016 along with his twin brother, Justin Ademilola. While Justin has yet to receive an offer, it would be surprising to see the Buckeyes offer just one, as the two are an assumed packaged deal.
