4-star prospects pick up Ohio State offers

OSU sends out new DT offer Despite their current well standing with 2018 defensive tackles Matthew Jones of Erasmus Hall (NY) and Taron Vincent of IMG Academy (FL), the Buckeyes are leaving no stone unturned at the position in this year’s class. That was proof when ‘18 DT Tommy Togiai, a 6-foot-3, 290-pounder from Highland (ID), received an offer from the Scarlet and Gray on Wednesday. Togiai is currently ranked among the best at the defensive tackle position; he is listed as the 10th highest graded player at the spot in the entire class. The four-star prospect is also penciled in as the 112th player overall and, unsurprisingly, is the top player from the state of Idaho. The offer to Togiai officially puts Ohio State into the mix with programs like Arizona State, Michigan, Oregon, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington.
