Video: Ezekiel Elliott returns to Ohio State to pay homage

The 2016 season was legendary for Ezekiel Elliott, but it sure didn’t start out that way. After suffering a hamstring injury over the summer that saw him miss the majority of the preseason, the Dallas Cowboys’ top pick sputter out of the gate against the New York Giants in the season opener mustering only 51 rushing yards with a single touchdown. Those were hardly numbers the world wanted to see from the infinitely touted fourth overall selection. What happened after that, however, was something for the Cowboys’ and NFL record books, literally.
