Photo by Dan Harker A year ago at this time the Buckeyes were returning one starting cornerback in Gareon Conley and needing to replace first-round NFL Draft pick Eli Apple on the other side. They went into the spring splitting reps between Marshon Lattimore and Denzel Ward, which then turned into a three-way starting partnership with Conley, Lattimore, and Ward. Now, however, only Ward returns and cornerbacks coach Kerry Coombs has to replace two gigantic divots after an incredible drive. There are certainly a good number of potential options here, as Ohio State returns four cornerbacks aside from Ward and add four new ones in the spring, as well as two more in the summer.
