COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State would prefer it if five-star quarterback Emory Jones of Franklin (Ga.) Heard County didn’t visit other schools. Things would be a lot easier. Don’t expect Jones to stop. Though Jones has maintained he’s firmly committed to Ohio State, he took an unofficial visit to Alabama this past weekend after the Crimson Tide offered him a scholarship earlier in the month. After the visit, Jones participated in Nike Football’s Elite 11 competition and caught up with 247Sports about his recent visit to Alabama. Where do things stand with Ohio State? “I’m firmly committed right now,” Jones told 247Sports. “I’m solid to Ohio State.
