Ohio State Running Back Situation Getting Interesting by Charlie Lockhart A new passing offense for Ohio State? So far this spring I have been hearing of this new phenomenon taking place at the Ohio State practice facility. Quarterbacks have been seen throwing the football down the field. Now it appears there have been wide receivers catching those passes as well. Hearing that the north-south passing game is being worked on is welcome news for Buckeye fans. Downfield passing hasn’t been seen very often during Ohio State games lately. One thing is for certain there should be plenty of time to work on it. There isn’t much need to work on sideline routes and stop patterns, the quarterbacks and receivers should have them down pat.
