Ohio State LB Baron Browning out for a ‘couple months’ with shoulder injury

One of Ohio State’s more intriguing 2017 early enrollees’ Buckeye football career got off to a bit of a rough start when Urban Meyer announced freshman LB Baron Browning will have surgery and miss “a couple months” of practice, Meyer told the gathered at a post-practice media availability. Meyer told reporters that Browning is expected to undergo surgery today but should be at full health by June. He’s expected to be ready to go for Ohio State’s fall opener on the road against the Indiana Hoosiers. Browning, a 247Sports Composite five-star inside linebacker from Kennedale High in Kennedale, TX was one of the more electric additions to the Buckeyes’ most recent recruiting class.
