Spring Practice Insider: Buckeye Quarterbacks on Display


Ohio State was back on the practice field on Tuesday morning. The media was allowed in for the first hour, and while there was no scrimmaging while we were there, the quarterbacks were on the main stage throwing for much of the first hour. In terms of consistency, it was J.T. Barrett at the head of the pack in every area, be it deep ball, intermediate, short, rolling left, rolling right, but he was not the only impressive quarterback on the day. Joe Burrow is still the No. 2 quarterback, but he and No. 3 Dwayne Haskins both had some very good moments. Watching them all throw deep passes in pod drills, Haskins was 4-for-4, Burrow was 2-for-2, Barrett was 2-for-3, and Martell was 1-for-2.
