Michigan behind only Ohio State for odds to win Big Ten football title

Michigan should have more NFL draftees than any other college program next month, so there are plenty of holes to fill for Jim Harbaugh. But that doesn’t mean the Wolverines aren’t among the contenders to win the Big Ten in 2017, in odds released today by Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Michigan (2/1) is behind only Ohio State (8/5) among favorites to win the conference’s championship game. Penn State and Wisconsin are fourth, before there’s some big separation from the other teams. The Wolverines lost in Columbus last season, 30-27 in overtime, when a win would have sent them to the Big Ten championship game and possibly the College Football Playoff.
