Larry Johnson and the Buckeyes Well on Their Way to Addressing One of the Biggest 2018 Recruiting Needs

Just a handful of months ago, Ohio State signed what was one of the best defensive back classes ever assembled. Outside of just the sheer talent that was brought in and will continue to be brought in when Amir Riep arrives in June, this was the team’s single-greatest need for the 2017 class. Needless to say, it was a major win for Urban Meyer, Greg Schiano, and Kerry Coombs. Following the 2017 season, the Buckeyes are going to be without a number of starters in the trenches. Seniors Jalyn Holmes and Tyquan Lewis will be gone, and there’s certainly a chance fourth-year junior Sam Hubbard will test the NFL waters. On the interior portion of the line, both Michael Hill and Tracy Sprinkle are heading into their final seasons.
