Former Buckeyes who make art might someday get their own exhibit

Joe Blundo The Columbus Dispatch @joeblundo Playing big-time college sports doesn’t leave a lot of time to pursue art. “Just classes and football,” said Percy King, a former defensive back at Ohio State University. “That’s all you think about.” But King is among ex-OSU athletes who returned to creative endeavors when their playing days were done. If John Daly has his way, their work will someday be on exhibit. Daly, who retired as OSU men’s tennis coach in 1999 after 29 seasons, is assembling a list of former athletes who produce art, professionally or for their own enjoyment.
