UNLV won’t beat Ohio State, but is a program heading in the right direction

As far as Ohio State is concerned, the most important football played in Las Vegas happens to be at the high school level, rather than in college. UNLV Head Coach Tony Sanchez is looking to change that. When Sanchez took the job in December 2014, he was leaving behind a high school football powerhouse at Bishop Gorman, and taking over a program that had been to just four bowl games in its history. While they haven’t been able to get to the postseason yet, the Rebels are on the rise heading into 2017.
