COLUMBUS, Ohio — Kevin Wilson, Ohio State’s new offensive coordinator, is reinvigorating the offense. Or at least that’s what he’s supposed to be doing. Ryan Day? His job might determine even more what the 2017 season will be like. He’s fixing the quarterback. Well, fix might be a strong word, but Day, the new quarterbacks coach, is working with the fifth-year senior who makes everything go for the Buckeyes. Getting J.T. Barrett to be his best version of himself is Day’s priority. If he can do that? Everything else might work itself out. So Tim Bielik, Bill Landis and I talked about the first-year quarterbacks coach after talking with Day and the quarterbacks on Monday.
