The battle continues Those looking for a backup quarterback announcement will have to keep waiting. All eyes were on that position with quarterbacks set to talk to the media Monday, and the first question Urban Meyer faced was about the backup quarterbacks. He gave little concrete info, saying only that there’s not yet a starter and that the next scrimmage could help decide the competition. “We have a big scrimmage coming up this Saturday, and that’s going to be a huge part of it,” he said.
