Ohio State football vs. Indiana opener will be shown in ESPN Megacast: Report

COLUMBUS, Ohio — You will have multiple viewing experiences for Ohio State’s season opener at Indiana on Aug. 31. ESPN is bringing back its Megacast format for that game, Sports Illustrated’s Richard Deitsch reported on Tuesday. In addition to the traditional 8 p.m. broadcast on ESPN (featuring Dave Flemming and Kirk Herbstreit on the call), there will be six alternative viewing experiences for fans. Those include Coaches Film Room on ESPNEWS, a homers broadcast on ESPNU (with Joe Tessitore and Dan Dakich), an All-22 broadcast (end zone view) on ESPN3, a Skycam broadcast on ESPN3, a DataCenter broadcast on ESPN3 (with on-screen graphic content) and a Command Center broadcast on ESPN Goal Line with multiple camera angles being shown simultaneously. ESPN’s College GameDay will also originate from Bloomington, Ind., at 6 p.m. on ESPN. You may remember the Megacast ESPN used when Ohio State played Oregon in the 2014 National Championship.…
