Michigan QB Wilton Speight lost sleep over last year's loss to Ohio State

ANN ARBOR — The start of Big Ten play is here, and it’s invoking lots of memories for Wilton Speight. Some good, others bad. The Michigan quarterback appeared on the “Inside Michigan Football” radio show Monday night, ahead of the Wolverines’ conference opener Saturday at Purdue (4 p.m., FOX), and was asked by fill-in host J.T. Rogan about the rivalry with Ohio State. More specifically, the 30-27 double-overtime loss last November in Columbus. “Yeah, I think a rivalry of that magnitude — probably the biggest rivalry in any sport — you think about all the time,” Speight said. “There were multiple nights this past offseason where I thought about that game.
