Ohio city changes Halloween because of Buckeyes' game

Web StaffCIRCLEVILLE, OHIO — If you think the world doesn’t revolve around Ohio State Buckeye football in central and southern Ohio…think again! The city of Circleville, which is about 20 minutes south of Columbus, just changed its planned trick-or-treat day and time. They did it because of a Buckeyes’ game. The OSU/Penn State game was originally planned for Saturday, October 28th at Noon, but it got moved to 4:30pm, and that’s right during Circleville’s weekend trick-or-treat. So, Circleville will now hold Halloween trick-or-treat on Sunday the 29th. The mayor said they wanted to be fair not only families, but also football fans.
