Ohio State falls again, TCU and Georgia enter top-10 of AP poll: Buckeyes football news

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Georgia and TCU entered the top-10 of the Associated Press college football poll this week, which meant another drop for Ohio State. TCU, which beat Oklahoma State, and Georgia, which beat Mississippi State, moved up to No. 9 and No. 7, respectively. That knocked the Buckeyes out of the top-10 to No. 11. This is the first time the Buckeyes have been outside of the top-10 in the AP poll since week 10 of the 2014 season. That was right before Ohio State beat Michigan State that year. Alabama remains No. 1 in the poll, receiving 52 first-place votes. No. 2 Clemson received eight first-place votes, while No. 3 Oklahoma got one. Penn State and USC rounded out the top five.
