Ohio State's J.T. Barrett, Billy Price Named Candidates for Senior CLASS Award

Ohio State is one of only two schools with multiple candidates for this year’s Senior CLASS Award. Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett and center Billy Price, both fifth-year seniors who are among Ohio State’s most respected team leaders, were named as two of the 30 candidates for this year’s award on Thursday. The Senior CLASS Award annually recognizes a college football player who has notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition. Barrett, the only three-time team captain in Ohio State history, graduated from the university in December 2016 with a degree in communications and has rewritten the school’s record books on the football field.
