COLUMBUS, Ohio — Urban Meyer confirmed on Wednesday that Ohio State freshman receiver Trevon Grimes is away from the team, dealing with a family health issue. “Trevon is dealing with family health issues,” Meyer said. “I saw him. He’s doing great.” Rumors began swirling this week on Miami message boards that Grimes had been considering a hardship transfer to the Hurricanes, which would put him closer to his home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Meyer confirmed that Grimes is still on the team, and that his time away from the team is indefinite.
