Ohio State jumps three spots to No. 6; Penn State to No. 2 in AP Poll: Buckeyes football news

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State benefited from a week full of upsets to move up just outside the top five of the latest Associated Press college football poll on Sunday. Clemson, Washington and Washington State all lost over the weekend, knocking them from the ranks of the unbeaten. That allowed Ohio State to move up after the Buckeyes downed Nebraska, 56-14, on Saturday. As a result of all the losses, Penn State moved to No. 2 behind Alabama.
