Bovada: Ohio State has second best odds to win CFP National Championship

Week 7 of the college football season saw four upsets to teams in the AP Poll Top 10. Those upsets led to a shakeup in the gambling world, as Ohio State took Clemson’s spot as the team with the second best odds to win the College Football Playoff National Championship. As of Wednesday evening, the Buckeyes’ odds are 5-to-1, an improvement from last week’s evaluation of 15-to-2. Clemson’s surprising loss to the Syracuse Orange in the Carrier Dome dropped their odds to only third; the Tigers now have 9-to-1 odds of winning it all. Once again, though, the Alabama Crimson Tide are the favorite. After laying waste to the Arkansas Razorbacks in a 41-9 victory, the Tide improved their odds from 5-to-4 last week, to 10-to-11.
