Ohio State football: Buckeyes hold scrimmage during bye week

Bill Rabinowitz The Columbus Dispatch @brdispatch Ohio State is off Saturday before next week’s marquee matchup against Penn State, but the Buckeyes will have a modified scrimmage Thursday. Meyer said he will put his players through a practice that will consist of roughly 60 snaps, though they won’t be in full pads. “Today will be what we call a coordinators practice,” Meyer said on his radio call-in show on 97.1 The Fan. “The only people are the coordinators (Kevin Wilson and Greg Schiano) and myself.” Other assistants are out on recruiting visits. Players will be off this weekend and due to return by 6 a.m. Monday.
