They’ve added a teethier passing gear. Now, Wilson, the offensive coordinator, and Day, the quarterbacks coach, testified that in their first year at OSU they’ve simply honed the parts on hand in order to give their driver, fourth-year starting quarterback J.T. Barrett, a peppier ride. Seven games in, the Buckeyes, who had a bye Saturday, lead the Big Ten in scoring (47.3-point average), total offense (577.3 yards) and passing (326.7 yards).
