COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football opened as a 7-point favorite over the No. 2 team in the country for next Saturday’s game against Penn State in Ohio Stadium, according to VegasInsider.com. The Buckeyes (6-1, 4-0 Big Ten) are 4-3 against the spread this year, and are coming off a bye week. Ohio State beat Nebraska 56-14 in its last game. Penn State (7-0, 4-0) is 5-1-1 against the spread this year, and coming off a 42-13 win over Michigan on Saturday night. The Nittany Lions beat the Buckeyes 24-21 last year in State College, Pa. Ohio State and Penn State will kick off at 3:30 p.m. next Saturday on Fox. ESPN’s College GameDay will originate from Columbus this week.
