Linebacker Dante Booker cleared for Ohio State vs. Michigan: Buckeyes football news

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State should be getting another linebacker back for Saturday’s game against Michigan. Urban Meyer said Tuesday that linebacker Dante Booker has been medically cleared after missing the last two games, and will practice on Tuesday. “He’ll be cleared,” Meyer said. “That’s good news. He’s gonna practice today.” Ohio State never gave an official prognosis for Booker, but Sports Illustrated reported two weeks ago that he and fellow linebacker Jerome Baker were both in concussion protocol. Both missed Ohio State’s win over Michigan State. Baker returned last week against Illinois. With Booker back, it’s unclear what exactly Ohio State will do with its linebackers. Last week Chris Worley moved from middle linebacker to Booker’s Sam linebacker spot, while Tuf Borland started in the middle.
