Nick Bosa, Tyquan Lewis among three Ohio State players named first team All-Big Ten on defense: Buckeyes football news

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State defensive linemen Nick Bosa and Tyquan Lewis were both named first team All-Big Ten selections on defense by both media and coaches on Tuesday. Cornerback Denzel Ward was a first team selection by the media, and a second-teamer by the coaches. The Big Ten will announce the All-Big Ten offense on Wednesday and the individual awards on Thursday. Bosa leads Ohio State with six sacks and 12 tackles for loss. Lewis has five sacks, 6.5 tackles for loss, two pass breakups and a forced fumble. Ward has one interception along with 13 pass breakups and 27 solo tackles. Sam Hubbard was on the second team by both the coaches and media, and Ward is on the coaches’ second team. No Buckeyes made the first team on special teams.
