Ohio State football | Defensive tackle, receiver commit to Buckeyes

Staff report With the new early signing period approaching Dec. 20, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer secured commitments from two more prospects on a busy Tuesday night. Tommy Togiai, a defensive tackle from Pocatello, Idaho, and Kamryn Babb, a receiver from St. Louis, announced on Twitter that they have chosen Ohio State. Togiai, 6 feet 3 and 290 pounds, made public his choice after an in-home visit from Meyer and defensive line coach Larry Johnson. He tweeted, “Committed Go Buckeyes!!!” and included photos of him with both coaches. Shortly after, Johnson posted on Twitter, “Boooom!!!! Can’t wait to coach this playmaker! Welcome to the family!” The Buckeyes needed help on the defensive line after Brenton Cox of Stockbridge, Georgia, decommitted last week.
