What Kamryn Babb's commitment means for Ohio State: Buckeyes football recruiting

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State picked up a commitment from four-star receiver Kamryn Babb on Tuesday. Here’s what it means for the Buckeyes’ 2018 recruiting class: * Babb is the second receiver commitment in Ohio State’s 2018 recruiting class, joining four-star Dayton prospect L’Christian Smith. But Babb has long been the top receiver prospect on the Buckeyes’ recruiting board for this class. That didn’t change even after Babb suffered a torn ACL before his senior season at Christian Brothers College in St. Louis. While Smith could potentially be moved to tight end depending on how his body changes down the line, Babb is a pure receiver. Ohio State hasn’t recruited many of those since Urban Meyer’s arrival.
